The Paris Masters' in the Champ de Mars, in front of the Eiffel Tower, was the first international showjumping competition I organised 'on foot', together with the MacCormack agency.

This competition, reserved each year for the best 25 riders in the world, took place in the heart of Paris, recognised by its arena constructed with blue sand, which was created in celebration of the jubilee of my horse Jappeloup in 1991.
Three further editions of this event were held in 1992, 1993 and 1996, after which the Masters' was obliged to relocate to Jardy, when the Mayor of Paris would not renew his authorization to use this exceptional site. A great pity!

Since 1992, I have been organising 4 to 6 competitions every year in Lacanau’s “Horse Village”, one of which is an international competition for young riders, the LACANAU JUMP. In 2006, I was in charge of an international show jumping competition for young riders and a two-star international show jumping competition at the Haras de Jardy equestrian centre near PARIS.

Finally, in 1994, while I was chairman of the French Federation of Equestrian Sports (FFE), I put forward the concept of the current FEI Nations Cup, the Samsung Super League.
